CD COPIERS
CD copiers are synonymous to CD writers and CD recorders. The efficiency of the system can be measured by the copying or writing speed, reading speed and rewriting speed.
The basic function of the system is to record or copy the information or software from one CD to other. It can record data, digital, audio and video and other varied types of digital information. Generally an information or data that can be copied in a CD is up to 650-700 megabytes or 74-80 minutes of audio or digital video. Although the CD copier can carry on the process of writing the CD many times, each time the person who wants to copy the data has to get a new blank CD every time unless it is a re-recordable one. Another advantage of the copier is that it can also write the entire CD into many increments until the entire space in the CD is filled up to no more occupy any further data. The CD thus copied in this copier can be used in any CD-ROM drive, CD Audio Player, CD-I Vi deo Player. Generally the speed of the copier is 4Xwhich takes about 15 minutes to write a full CD.
DVD COPIERS
DVD copiers are generally termed as DVD recorders which are majorly used for the entertainment purpose that is copying of Audio or Video files or programmes or software. The efficiency of the system is also measured by the copying or writing speed, reading speed and rewriting speed.
As compared to the CD copiers, DVD copiers are of much higher writing and reading speed. The reason being that DVD is designed to store a higher space than CD. |
